How to use the site
The site has been developed using a common structure from which searches can be conducted.
Access to the different registers and search types can be found in the left hand menu of the
page shown below.
The are two core types of searches that can be conducted:
- by location - where the main search criteria are geographically based, for example,
Water Management Area, Water Source or DNR Region (see below).
- by Licence/appLIcation/approval number – where an individual record is searched
by using the appropriate reference number (see below).
After completing the search criteria in the fields available, press the search button (circled in red above).
If data exists for the search criteria you have entered and there are results to be displayed, you will get
a screen similar to the one below. If additional information is available for the search results, or a link
to related information exists, a radio button will be provided to open the additional information as shown
below under Details (circled in red).
Other specific searches are available based on the information being provided.
