Transfer and Share Assignment Statistics

The Water Management Act 2000 requires information on water trading to be made publicly available for the purpose of promoting informed and efficient water markets and improving administrative transparency. The information provided is limited to meet the requirements of section 57 of the Privacy and Personal Information Act 1998.

Using the search function provided below, you can access up-to-date information on the trading of water access licence share components (part or all of the share of the available water under the licence) to another licence holder in the same water source under section 71Q - Assign Share Component.

This Register does not include transfers of water access licences (ie. change of holder) pursuant to section 71M.
